The spiny lobster is the biggest and most plentiful in the Caribbean. It lives on the reefs of the Western Atlantic Ocean, at a depth of 6 to 20 meters, in waters around 20°C. In the Bahamas, the spiny lobsters are fished traditionally in traps from the beginning of August until end of March.
Origin

Selective Fishing
